Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how HackSec.ai uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) on the NannyEye website and web app. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies like localStorage let a site remember information between visits. We use them to keep the Service working and to understand how it’s used.
2. How we use them
| Type | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in, maintain your session and security, remember your in-app preferences. The Service can’t work without these. | Firebase Authentication session, sign-in tokens, saved settings in localStorage |
| Functional | Remember choices such as your selected camera list and dashboard preferences on your device. | Stored camera/device settings |
| Analytics (optional) | Help us understand usage and improve the product. Used only where you allow it. | Firebase/Google Analytics (if enabled) |
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data collected via cookies.
3. Managing cookies
- You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break sign-in and core features.
- Optional analytics can be turned off in the app’s Settings (“Allow anonymous statistics”).
- Where required by law, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies before setting them.
4. Changes & contact
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Questions: support@hacksec.ai.
